Veterinary Surgeon | Out of Hours / ECC
Independent Practice | New 24 Hour Service

An established independent veterinary practice with is preparing to launch its own in-house out of hours service in the coming months, creating an exciting opportunity for an Emergency / Night Veterinary Surgeon to join the team.

This is a chance to be part of something from the ground up, helping shape a new emergency service within a thriving, well-equipped independent practice known for its supportive culture and high clinical standards.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of emergency and hospitalised patients overnight within a modern hospital environment.

The practice is well equipped with digital X-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy, multiparameter monitoring and high-end ultrasound.

You will work alongside a dedicated RVN overnight, with protected handover time each morning to ensure continuity of care between the night and day teams.

The role offers strong clinical autonomy while still being supported by a collaborative and experienced team.

Flexible rota options are available and the practice is open to discussing patterns such as 7 on / 14 off, with genuine input from the incoming vet as the new service develops.

This is a proudly independent practice run by a husband and wife veterinary and nursing team who prioritise clinical freedom, teamwork and a positive working culture.

The clinic has previously partnered with an external out of hours provider, but is now bringing the service in-house to ensure greater continuity of care for patients.
