About them

They’re a community of passionate veterinary professionals committed to providing truly exceptional care. They’re set on building something extraordinary: creating the most forward-thinking and innovative place in the veterinary industry. They’re always looking for people who aspire to stand out in their field, and it’s this vision and enthusiasm that forms the foundation of how they work. Their mission to deliver progressive, around the clock care means their employees have the very best equipment and treatment options available. They provide ongoing support to their teams, both in practice and through their dedicated training centre. This empowers you to get the very best from their advanced equipment while being on your journey to veterinary excellence.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a practice that we are delighted to be working with for a Night Veterinary Nurse to join their 24-Hour Hospital in South-West London.

The successful RVN will be eager to continue their nursing career within an Emergency and Critical Care role, working to a 7-nights on, 14-nights off rota, which offers a great work/life balance!

They can also offer support in funding should you wish to pursue your Emergency and Critical Care certificate.

The Branch

The practice is a well-equipped hospital with separate dog and cat waiting areas, 4 consulting rooms, digital x-ray, endoscopy, dental x-ray, full in-house lab, ultrasound, separate dog and cat wards, isolation and separate dental and "clean" operating rooms.

The hospital has a mixed caseload seeing first opinion cases and transfers from their surrounding clinics. The branch partner is a surgery certificate holder, seeing both soft tissue and orthopaedic cases. Among the rest of the vet team (soon to grow to 7.5 vets), there is a soon-to-be medicine certificate holder, an ECC certificate holder and a visiting cardiology certificate holder. There are also 5 RVNs, 3 SVNs as well as PCAs and CCAs making up the rest of the fabulous and friendly team.

Working Hours:

Hours are 19:00-09:00 working to a seven nights on, fourteen nights off rota (exact hours potentially negotiable) to allow ample rest time between working weeks to relax, unwind or pursue hobbies.

If you are a Night Veterinary Nurse who is eager to continue their nursing career within an Emergency and Critical Care role, make sure to get in touch today because this may be the practice for you!
