Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a Progressive Mixed Clinic, who are looking to grow their team with a Mixed Animal Vet to add to the team of 3 small animal Vets, 5 large animal Vets, and 2 nurses.

You will be joining an exceptional team of of 8 vets with a wealth of experience in Large Animal, Small Animal and Equine care, who aim to provide a high standard of professional care to all their clients, day or night.

The Role:

  • The practice offers a high medical and surgical caseload, and challenging trauma cases. Highly equipped (digital x-ray, lab suite, advanced ultrasound, etc.) for all medical and surgical investigations.

  • Within large animal, the role will include a flexible mix of clinical work with dairy, beef, and sheep herds covering all Veterinary requirements for beef and dairy herds, and sheep flocks, including Reproduction Fertility, and Scanning; Health Plans; Disease Investigation; and many more opportunities to develop your own client base.

  • This will ideally be a Full Time position, but part time applicants will be considered.

  • With an equally shared rota between the Vets and OOH's currently 1 in 6 or fewer nights on-call, and is negotiable.

The Ideal Applicant:

  • You will have a grounding in all aspects of general practice with the opportunity for career progression.

  • You will ideally have experience and be looking toward, or have, a certificate, but equally new graduates are welcome
