A well established, modern small animal practice in Warrington is looking to appoint a Deputy Head Nurse to support and develop an experienced nursing team in a progressive, well run clinical environment.
This is a strong opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys leadership but wants to remain hands on clinically. The role works closely alongside the Head Nurse, supporting standards, developing people and helping drive the practice forward day to day.

The role
- Support the Head Nurse across clinical standards and governance
- Play an active role in mentoring and supporting the nursing team
- Help improve efficiency, workflow and day to day operations
- Remain clinically hands on with a mix of consults, inpatient care and theatre
- Visible leadership role within a supportive team culture
Working pattern
- Full time role based on a 4 day week
- 9 hour shifts
- 1 in 4 weekends
- Flexibility considered on an individual basis
