An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hospital Lead Nurse in this 24 Hour practice in Southend. You will be heading this amazing hospital team under the leadership of the Head and Deputy Head Nurses.
In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.
Most importantly, you’ll share the practice's values being trustworthy, caring and progressive showing your passion and professionalism for working as one team to deliver exceptional care.
This role is full time working 40 hours per week with 1:3 half weekends or 1:6 full - providing you with a great work/life balance!
The Branch
The equipment and services at the clinic includes flexible and rigid endoscopy, a well-equipped in-house laboratory (including blood gases and clotting profiles), a high spec ultrasound machine, CT imaging and digital x-ray. This hospital has a strong team of vets with a broad range of skills and high level nursing care.
The practice is a 15 minute drive away from the famous Southend Pier which is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants
