Our client that we are delighted to be working with have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a full time Head Registered Veterinary Nurse at their practice in Manchester.

They are excited to offer the opportunity to lead their dynamic and enthusiastic nursing team. They believe passionately in patient care and also the maintaining of their growing nursing team.

Role:

They are looking for someone to work closely with their leadership team in delivering the very best that veterinary care has to offer their clients and patients.

Your average day will include a variety of nursing duties as well as assisting with clinical coaching within the practice. Full support will be provided as you will work closely with our experienced lead vet.

They are looking for an RVN who shares their passion for delivering outstanding service and care for their clients and patients. You may have previous experience leading a team or you're ready to take the next step into a head nurse position. You will have a friendly and positive attitude and want to progress and expand your knowledge and skills further.

This is a full time role, weekends will be on a rotation at one of their 24 hour hospitals. They can also accommodate part time hours.

Salary & benefits:

The Branch:

This practice is a growing practice with a team consisting of 2 vets, head nurse, an SVN and receptionist plus patient care assistant. The branch used to be a referral hospital so has a lot of equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, multiparameter machine, defibrillator etc. The lead vet has a surgery certificate, a medicine certificate and a feline medicine certificate. The practice has various visiting specialists (dermatology, imaging etc) so promoting exceptional care is truly at the heart of what they do. The branch is accredited with practice standards scheme.
