Due to the expansion of this great practice, we are looking for a Graduate Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team!

They have years of experience in mentoring and developing new graduates in line with their culture.

About the practice:

  • The practice is located only a 5 minute drive from the centre of Milton Keynes where there are direct trains to London in under 40 mins. There are also close links to Luton and Heathrow airports. The location offers a great rural/urban balance.

  • Their highly-rated team led by practice owner/vet and is made up of 4.5 vets with varying experience from 1 to +20 years (including 2 senior vets), 3 RVNs (including the practice manager and head nurse), 1 SVN, 4 VCAs, 3 CCAs and 1 practice administrator. T

  • The practice offers a wide range of state of the art equipment such as ECG, high spec' Imotek veterinary ultrasound with cardiac lead and table, Idexx haematology and chemistry electrolytes, digital x-ray, dental suite (with dental x-ray), tonometry and 4 consult rooms.

  • They see a wide range of case load including a mixture of routine vaccinations and health checks, neutering, first opinion sick/injured animals, medicine and surgical cases.

The Role:

  • You’ll be supported from day one by a dedicated mentor/VetGDP Advisor, you’ll also be able to take paid leave to attend the varied CPD programme designed by vets specifically for new graduates.

  • As you build your confidence in caring for pets and their owners, you’ll grow your own client base and see the continuity of cases with the support of your wider team. You won’t be in sole charge of cases until you’re ready.
