Night ECC Veterinary Surgeon | South Wales | 7 on 7 off | Up to £100k
A well established, busy emergency hospital in South Wales is looking to welcome an experienced ECC Veterinary Surgeon to their dedicated night team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys emergency work and is looking to further develop within a well equipped, high caseload environment.
The Role
• Permanent night position
• 7 nights on / 7 nights off rota
• Average 46.25 hours per week
You’ll be managing a varied and rewarding ECC caseload, including both medical and surgical cases, with the support of an experienced team. This role suits someone confident working independently overnight while still valuing a collaborative environment.
You’ll be supported by a strong team of vets, RVNs, animal care assistants and reception staff, ensuring you’re never truly on your own despite the nature of night work.
The Practice
This is a large, well equipped hospital providing out of hours care to a wide network of local practices, meaning a consistent and interesting caseload.
Facilities include:
• 24 hour inpatient care
• CT scanner
• Advanced ultrasound
• Endosurgery equipment
• Extensive in house lab (including TEG and blood gas)
• Dedicated orthopaedic, soft tissue and exotic theatres
• Separate ECC wards
• Modern dental suite
• In house rehab including physio and hydrotherapy
The clinic places a strong emphasis on clinical standards, investment in equipment and giving vets the freedom to work cases up properly.
Location
Based in South Wales with easy access to Cardiff, the coast and surrounding countryside, offering a great balance between city, coast and outdoor lifestyle.
Package
- Salary up to £100,000 depending on experience
