Float Registered Veterinary Nurse – South of England
£35,000 – £38,000 DOE
£150 travel allowance per month
An award-winning veterinary group is seeking an experienced RVN to join their team in a newly created Float Nurse position, offering the chance to work flexibly across multiple modern, well-equipped surgeries across the South. Covering a small network of practices across South and Greater London, extending into the Hampshire and South Coast region.
This unique role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys the variety and independence of locum life but wants the security of a permanent role. You’ll step in to support practices during vacancies or long-term leave, ensuring consistency for clients, patients, and colleagues alike.
What you’ll do:

Work across four surgeries, providing hands-on nursing support where it’s needed most

Deliver excellent clinical care and customer service

Support teams in maintaining high standards of patient care and wellbeing

Promote preventive healthcare and lead by example within each practice
What we’re looking for:

A qualified RVN confident in working autonomously and adapting to new teams quickly

A flexible, positive team player who enjoys variety in their work

Someone passionate about maintaining clinical excellence across different settings
Hours:

4 shifts per week
-
1 in 4 weekends

Shared bank holiday rota
