We have an Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Small Animal Vet - An Amazing Opportunity to join a Clinic under the wing of a well established Veterinary Group throughout the UK & Ireland, with several amazing benefits!


The practice is a progressive team including 4 Vets (both medicine and surgery cert holders), 8 RVN’s, 3 Reception staff, an accounts manager, a practice manager and 2 ACA’s. The team offer a friendly and welcoming environment, as well as a culture of understanding and compassion!

We are offering:

  • CPD is highly encouraged with an allowance of €1300 towards CPD costs annually. In-house CPD events also organised regularly as well as clinical case discussions and department organisational meetings and debriefs

  •  A fully renovated high spec small animal hospital including, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, in house blood analysers, separate dog and cat consultation rooms, segregated waiting areas, private family room

  • Client care is important to us. We have spent many years building up an incredible client base who deserve our best at all times. Client communication and follow up is essential so we ensure to designate time during each shift to client phone calls/e-mails/case write ups etc.

  • Annual Appraisals as well as regular check-ins

  •  Referral Orthopaedic surgeries done in house and both in house and visiting ultrasonographer

The Ideal Applicant

  • Experience preferred for this role but benefits of a supportive, energetic and experienced team

  • Competent at routine surgeries (Cat/Dog Spays and Castrates, lumpectomies)

  • Competent at procedures (Urinary Catheterisation, Blood transfusions, Ear Flush Exams, Skin work ups, cardiology work ups)

  • A desire to develop own interest fields and give highest standards of patient and client care

  • Good organisational and communication skills

  • We pride ourselves on working extremely well as a team so the ability to integrate well into a professional, friendly team is a must
