UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY – 100% EQUINE PRACTICE WITH NO FIRST ON CALL DUTIES!

This amazing practice has invested in significant changes to make the work life balance of vets a priority. Alongside a competitive package, they are in the unique position of having their own, in house, out of hours vet team who cover all their first on-call rota both during the week and at weekends.  This, combined with a remote smart phone-based billing system and software to minimise miles driven allows them to be efficient and motivated at work and enjoy quality time away from the practice.

The ideal candidate would be a good all-round equine practitioner, a strong interest in equine dentistry would be an advantage. The role would suit a dental certificate holder looking to undertake advanced dentistry with the opportunity to work up cases at our clinic, or someone who is possibly interested in undertaking a certificate in the future. You will be supported by two advanced practitioners in Equine Dentistry.

The position is initially offered on a full-time basis but could also be worked as a part time position.

They are a friendly team that includes five certificate holders, including Equine Dentistry, Equine Orthopaedics, and Equine Medicine. All the team are happy to support with cases as needed. The practice has full in-patient and clinic facilities with an operating theatre used with the support of visiting surgeons.  We have informal rounds every morning to enable the team to discuss cases and hospital in patients.

Salary range of £35k – £60k dependant on experience (pro rata for part-time).

Benefits include:

  • 5 Days paid CPD

  • 30 days holiday plus bank holidays (Pro Rata)

  • Health Shield Plan

  • Cycle to work scheme

  • Work vehicle provided

  • RCVS, VDS, BEVA and BVA fees.
