About:

We are pleased to be working with an Equine Only Practice that have an exciting opportunity for an experienced vet to join their team, based in Lancashire. The clinic is BEVA approved for Artificial Insemination with frozen and chilled semen, with facilities on site for storing frozen semen. And, offer full diagnostic & lameness investigation procedures including remedial farriery & are fully equipped for any Dentistry requirements you may have. Excellent on site stabling for patients.

The Ideal Applicant:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy first opinion 9 Vet team.

    We would like someone with experience but would consider a knowledgeable recent graduate who has good practical skills. An interest in Medicine, Surgery or stud work would be advantageous and your own further development will be supported, and special interests encouraged.

  • Must be RCVS registered and eligible to work in the UK.

The Role:

  • The role will be both ambulatory and clinic based. We are an RCVS accredited practice with well-equipped facilities including DR radiography, laser, gastroscope, 5 ultrasound scanners and motorised dental equipment in each vehicle.

  • This position ideally will be Full Time and is 1 in 6-8 out of hours rota.

  • The current team is experienced, incredibly supportive, and friendly, creating an excellent team in a collaborative environment.
