​Are you a Veterinary Surgeon with an Interest in Emergency Critical Care but not wanting to work Nights? Would you like the Opportunity to be a Full Time ECC Veterinary Surgeon working over 3 Days Per Week?

We are looking for an experienced and approachable Vet, with a strong medicine bias to join an Incredible Veterinary team of 20!

The Practice:

There is a large 24-hour hospital that supports their 6 local branch practices and the out-of-hours of other local practices. It has a range of high technical equipment, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, laparoscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopes, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. They have an exotic, orthopaedic, first opinion, and night team at the hospital, and we are looking to grow the dedicated medicine team.

The team has multiple certificate holders and colleagues with a huge range of clinical interests and expertise, with referral services for orthopaedics, imaging, ophthalmology, and exotics. And, are committed to continuing further development of our team members and investment into our services.

The Role:

  • The role includes assessment and treatment of our hospitalised patients, taking a lead role in their care, and supporting other members of the medical team. The ideal candidate would have, or be working towards, an Emergency Critical Care or internal medicine certificate. It will be expected that you enrol for a certificate after probation, if not already started. Fully supported.

  • In this role you will be working 36.5 hours over 3 days, giving plenty of time to explore this great city by the sea!
