Our client who we are pleased to be working with has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time basis in their referral hospital.

About them:

They are a 100% Small Animal veterinary group based around Cork city. Their very busy referral hospital is based in Northpoint on the Northside of Cork city.

At present, they have over 40+ staff members in their group including 16 Veterinary Surgeons, 18 Veterinary Nurses and 8 Support staff. Many of their Vets and Nurses hold their own certificates or specialize in their own area of interest and they encourage further professional development with their fully funded certificates. 

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a new graduate or young Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop themselves professionally based in a busy, first opinion hospital.  

Rota:

This is a full-time, permanent position of 40 hours over 4 days per week, based in our referral hospital at Northpoint. Typical shifts are 8am to 7pm. There is a shared weekend rota of 1 in 6 weekends. There is no OOH within this role. 

Salary:

The salary for this position is up to €47,000 plus attractive benefits listed below. There is the option of a relocation allowance of €5000 if required for the right candidate (T&C’s apply). 

Applicant Requirements:

All applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification and be eligible to register with the Veterinary Council of Ireland. A dedication to gold-standard veterinary practice is required with a wish to improve or develop your own skills.
