Full Time Veterinary Surgeon
We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a small animal practice who is currently looking to recruit for a full time veterinary surgeon to join their busy small animal practice in Cramlington. Their practice is 10 miles from Newcastle with all major transport links and only a 5 mile drive to the beautiful Northumberland coast. Their practice is in a busy pet store, where they are open 7 days a week. They have a varied and busy caseload.
Working hours:
This is a full time role, averaging at 38 hours over 4 days per week to help their busy surgery. The role will include 1 in 2 Saturdays (9am-6pm) and 1 in 4 Sundays (10am-4pm).
The role will consist of consulting with a regular theatre day every week, there is some sole charge required and no OOHs.

They carry out in house CT imaging and orthopaedic surgery via peripatetic services. They have a high number of bonded clients on care plans.
They are a social, vibrant and close knit team with a focus on work life balance and led by their RVN partner. The team is made up of 4 vets, 10 nurses, including 2 students, 5 receptionists & a client service manager.
