Experienced Veterinary Surgeon
Overview
An independent, high-growth small animal practice in Cambridgeshire is adding a mid to senior Veterinary Surgeon. You will enjoy real clinical autonomy, a supportive nursing team, and the kit to do full work-ups in house. The exotics caseload is handled by a dedicated team, so this role is focused on cats and dogs.
The role
- First opinion caseload from routine to more complex soft tissue surgery
- Consults, full medical work-ups and inpatient care with time protected for theatre
- Collaborative case discussions within a friendly, experienced team
Schedule
- Permanent full time
- Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:30
- Approximately 45 hours per week
- Participation in nights and weekends on a shared rota for emergency care
You will bring
- RCVS registration
- Strong diagnostics, confident routine and elective surgery, clear client communication
- A calm, team-focused approach and pride in patient care

- Digital radiography

- Full in-house IDEXX laboratory
- Multiparameter monitoring
- Dedicated theatre suite
Salary and benefits
- £45,000 to £100,000 depending on experience plus out of hours enhancements
