​We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their small, friendly practice.

This role has fantastic potential and lends itself to the successful candidates’ area of interest with the opportunity to influence clinical direction. 

If you’re a certificate holder (or working towards one) you would also have the opportunity to take internal patient transfers from across their Central London regions.

They are seeking someone with exceptional communication skills alongside an interest in managing a small team made up of their wonderful HRVN and SVN, and developing a clinic to its full potential.

This role works to their 4-day week (09:00-19:00) with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. 

Full time salary package up to £72,000 per annum depending on experience to include:

  • 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays

  • 4-day working week with 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends.

  • 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay

  • £1,500 CPD Allowance plus 3 days CPD leave (FTE)

  • RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid

  • Certificate funding

They can support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Practice:

This practice is equipped with one consult room, theatre, x-ray and dentistry facilities. Here, you will have a steady and interesting caseload, working collaboratively with the team to continue the welcoming and dedicated approach to their client care.

They work collaboratively with their local sister clinic, Southwark. It’s also very well situated to their 24-Hour Hospital where their hospital vets always on hand to support and can provide advanced surgical procedures for your patients if required. 

They have a dedicated night team at Camberwell to provide out of hour care, and they have an ambulance service in the region to support with hospitalisation of patients.
