Our client, a well-established veterinary hospital set in picturesque surroundings near the South Downs National Park, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their 24-hour hospital. This role offers the chance to work in a busy hospital environment with top-tier facilities, including digital and dental radiography, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, a fully equipped lab, CT, and two surgical theatres. Role Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care during consultations and procedures.

  • Provide clear, compassionate updates to clients on their pets’ health.

  • Uphold professional excellence with regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.

  • Tailor treatment plans with accurate cost estimates.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team to enhance skills and clinic performance.

  • Complete clinical handovers and arrange transfers for patients needing out-of-hours or enhanced care.

  • Actively support and share clinical best practices within the wider veterinary community.
