The Opportunity:
Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to have this Exclusive role on behalf of an amazing team based in South West England! A Truly independent practice, with no sales targets and no restrictions on choice of medicines! They have a rare opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join their team of 4 Vets (one of whom is working towards a CertAVP in Internal Medicine), 3 experienced RVNs with competent and understanding support staff including an SVN, ANA, receptionist, and the RVN practice manager supporting them.
This opportunity is due to a growth in practice - with their second new branch recently opening nearby!
The Role:
There is flexibility with this opportunity & can accommodate both part time & full time Vets! FT would be 40 hours over 4 days per week!
They are proud to cover all their own OOH and hospitalisation services - therefore there will be a 1:4 OOH Rota - with bonuses for OOH Calls!
You ideally will be working between both of the practice's branches that are situated close by.
The Ideal Applicant:
A passionate individual, preferably with at least one year’s experience in small animal practice in the UK.
You should enjoy working in general practice and have an ambition to do the very best possible for our valued patients and clients.
You should be competent in routine surgeries, consultations and dealing with common emergencies.
The ideal candidate would be a superb communicator, with a friendly personality who is enthusiastic, positive and capable with a great sense of humour.
A specific interest in Feline Medicine or Behaviour would be welcome as we hope to achieve gold standard ISFM cat-friendly clinic status at our new premises
