Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team! Your day-to-day will see you cover a mix of consulting and surgery duties across our well-established sites in the Aberdeen area.

Ideal Candidate:

Their ideal candidate is a confident Vet who is used to working as part of a fast-paced team, there will be an element of sole charge required.


They are dedicated to providing an excellent work/life balance for our people. You will work 3 days between 8 am – 7 pm, with a 1:4 share in the Saturday rota. Absolutely no OOH!

About them:

The practice is made up of 4 first opinion, small animal branches and a sister practice.

They are dedicated to making their practice a happy place to be for their team. They have the usual range of Veterinary equipment - Ultrasound, Digital main and dental xray, one consulting branch and 3 other branches with multiple consulting rooms, theatre, x-ray, a separate prep area and blood machines. They are always looking to expand and are happy to invest in further equipment if you have a specialist interest.

They are an 11-Vet team with 13 Registered Veterinary Nurses across the Bridge brand, supported by their fantastic team of 10 Student Nurses/Veterinary Care Assistants. They have a dermatology certificate holder and an internal medicine certificate holder. They also have a Vet with a particular interest in exotics.


Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £7,500 and welcome bonus up to £5,000
