Lloyd & Cowan have a fantastic opportunity for a Small Animal Vet with a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery that is purpose built to industry leading standards, with state-of-the-art equipment and a good variety of cases and flow of new clients.

The Practice:

  • Bright, spacious, and air-conditioned surgery, purpose-built to industry-leading standards.

  • Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a diverse caseload, the practice is well-positioned in a fantastic location for an enjoyable commute.

  • The practice is independently run by experienced Owner with over 15 years veterinary experience.

  • Supported by a dedicated team of 4 Vets, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses & a Practice Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • The Veterinary Surgeon will be expected to bring strong general surgical and medical skills, with experience in emergency surgery.

  • The position is full-time, comprising 40 hours per week, but part-time hours can be considered to accommodate individual circumstances.

  • To maintain a healthy work-life balance, there are no out-of-hours commitments, and weekend shifts are on a 1:4 basis.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will be a veterinary surgeon with good general surgical and medical skills, as well as experience in emergency surgery.

  • Confidence in working sole charge is essential.
