We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is as enthusiastic about animal care as they are! You will have a mix of consults and surgery.

Rota:

Typically, the full-time position is 40 hours per week, spread over 4 days with a mix of early and late shifts (latest finish is 7pm). You will have a 1:5 share in the Saturday rota (finishing at 2pm) and there is no OOH or Bank Holidays.

About them:

This practice is a two-site practice located in the beautiful County Durham. Their sites are situated in Durham and Chester le Street and the role would cover both practices.

Both practices are equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, in house haematology and biochemistry including SDMA, T4 and other extended panels. In addition, we have ultrasound, laser therapy, cautery, multi-parameters and bair huggers.

They have 8 experienced Veterinary Surgeons. Their long-standing team members are friendly and look forward to welcoming a new colleague. You’ll have the support of a fantastic nursing team with 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and 5 Veterinary Care Assistants and not to mention their exceptional Receptionists and Administrative team.

Salary:

​Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £5,000
