Our client who we are pleased to be working with have a rare opportunity that has arisen for a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their small but mighty team!
The Role:
They are looking for a part-time Vet, ideally with some experience, to work 2 full days a week and one Saturday morning in 5 (they are closed Saturday afternoons and Sundays) – this gives a great work-life balance.
Rota:
Their normal working day is from 8.30am to 7pm but they are very willing to be flexible with the hours for the right candidate. There is no on-call (they are also closed most bank holidays).
Their Vets typically have one (occasionally two if wanted) operating day a week until about 2.30pm and otherwise consulting time, however surgery is not essential.
About them:
They have lots of modern equipment to enable them to give the best possible service, including digital radiography, dental radiography and new dental machine, ultrasound, K-laser, multiparameter monitor and fully equipped lab. They offer acupuncture and have a visiting surgeon who will do orthopaedics.
They are 100% small animal, but this includes some exotics and sometimes turtles and otters from Loch Lomond Sea Life Centre.
The practice has a lovely team made up of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse (soon to be qualified), a Veterinary Care Assistant, a Practice Manager and a team of Receptionists.
Salary:
Salary up to £30,000 FTE depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £1,000
