A thriving small animal first opinion practice in Wroxham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Small Animal Vet to join their team.

The Veterinary Practice has expanded from a team of 7 Vets, now comprising an exceptional group of Veterinary professionals with an excellent Vet to RVN ratio. The team is known for their camaraderie, mutual support and social activities.

Practice Ethos:

·         The core philosophy at this practice is to provide the highest standard of care for animals within the means of their clients, while fostering a respectful and supportive work environment.

·         The practice prioritises patient well-being and client trust over meeting sales targets, ensuring a focus on compassionate and ethical veterinary care.

Facilities and Equipment:

·         5 consulting rooms

·         Prep room and theatre

·         Imaging suite

·         Separate dog, cat, and isolation wards

·         On-site lab with full Idexx lab equipmentncluding Sedivue

·         Advanced tools such as a Phillips ultrasound machine, digital dental x-ray, tonometer (Tonovet plus), and video endoscopy equipment

·         The practice also boasts a comfortable staff room for relaxation and team interaction.

Work Schedule:

·         A 4-day work week with a 1 in 3 Saturday rotation (counted as part of the four days)

·         An average of 36 hours per week

·         Rotational long weekends: one 4-day and one 3-day weekend every 6 weeks

·         Scheduled tea breaks and a dedicated lunch break to ensure adequate rest and team interaction

·         Routine appointments are 15 minutes long, with euthanasia appointments scheduled for 30 minutes

Salary & Benefits:

·         Competitive salary up to £65,000 (DOE)
