Here at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice.

About the practice:

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing their values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing their one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

They are seeking a vet with good diagnostic and communication skills. This is a great opportunity to improve both medical and surgical skills in a first opinion practice with up to date equipment – ultrasound, digital X-ray including dental, Idexx Catalyst and class 4 laser.

Working pattern:

This role is working 4.5 Day week 9am – 6pm with a 1:3 Saturday (9am – 12pm).

Salary:

£55,000 per year
