Our client who we are pleased to be working with have a fantastic opportunity for an exotic and small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
Role:
As a member of the small animal and exotic vet team, you will help with their busy and varied exotic caseload. You will be fully supported and encouraged by their three other exotic vets. Previous experience with exotic pets is wonderful, but this role would also suit someone who lacks experience but who is highly motivated to learn and develop their skills in this area.
Rota:
The rota will include working 40 hours over 4 days per week. Typically, you will be working two operating shifts per week and two consulting shifts per week. Weekends are on a rota basis and there are no out of hours. They do however cover their own inpatients during evening and weekends. There is no on-call. They would also consider part-time hours for this role for the right candidate.

This practice is a busy small animal and exotic practice with well-established branches in Cumbernauld and Falkirk.
Their dedicated, hard-working, and friendly team is currently made up of their Clinical Director, 11 Veterinary Surgeons (including 2 Senior Vets), 14 Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Animal Care Assistants, 10 Receptionists and 2 Practice Managers - all with a wide array of interests and talents. They have Vet and Nurse certificate holders in varied disciplines including exotics, opthalmology, dermatology, surgery, and dentistry.
Salary:
Salary up to £58,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £5,000 and welcome bonus up to £5,000
