Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are thrilled to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis! They pride themselves on providing exceptional care their clients and are looking for a driven vet with a minimum of 2 years experience to join their supportive team.
About the practice:
They are a busy first opinion practice who see a wide variety of cases. They have a purpose-built building in the lovely rural area of Ely, Cambridgeshire, with a large range of veterinary equipment such as a brand-new x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and dental x-ray. They have an experienced and supportive team who work together to create a positive working environment.
They have a 6-vet team, all general practitioners with their own areas of interest with enhanced knowledge within these areas, including diagnostic imaging cert, a visiting orthopedic surgeon & ECC Nurse, with more studying towards their certificate something they actively encourage in practice.
Role:
In this role, you will enjoy a good balance between consulting and operating on a variety of routine and urgent cases, although they can accommodate a consult only role should this be of interest. Their work includes dentals, orthopedics, thyroidectomies, scans, brand new DR x-ray machine, varying soft tissue surgeries, endoscope, all within their state of the art lab with huge numbers of tests run in house.
Working pattern:
The role is working 4 days per week up to 41 hours per week averaging 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no OOH. Whilst this is a full time position they will consider part time hours for the right candidate.
Salary:
Up to £65,000 DOE plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000
