We’re working with a progressive and supportive veterinary hospital in Kildare that’s looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to their team. The role
This is a flexible part-time position (20–25 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings), perfect for someone wanting to balance their career with life outside of work. For the right candidate, a full-time 12-month contract is also available.
The caseload can be tailored to suit your interests – whether that’s a consult-only focus or a broader general practice mix. While surgery is not essential, there’s scope to include it if desired. This role would particularly suit someone with an interest in internal medicine, diagnostics, or imaging.

What we’re looking for
- VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience
- Confident in consults and case work-ups
- Capable of independent work, including sole charge
- Interest in internal medicine, diagnostics, or imaging desirable
- Surgical skills welcome but not essential
