​The Role

Our client in High Wycombe are looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their committed and close-knit first opinion, small animal practice for consultations and surgery.  The practice is open between 08:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday and 08:30 to noon on Saturdays. They are happy to accommodate flexible days and hours with occasional Saturdays and absolutely no OOH.

Salary:

The salary for this role is up to £60,000 depending on experience 

About them:

This practice is a 3 branch practice, with a total of 9 vets full-and part time, supported by 8 RVNs, 4 student nurses and 3 PCAs. Vets Now host practice at main branch enabling 24hr care. Facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy. We have been established for almost 60 years and they pride themselves in the continual efforts to offer the best in Veterinary Care.  Located in the picturesque Buckinghamshire, with easy links to fast trains to London and countryside alike.

They are a dedicated and friendly team of 9 Vets, 8 RVNs, 4 student nurses and 3 PCAs. With 14 receptionists and 1 Practice Manager and 1 Administrator. 1 certificate holder in advanced veterinary practice small animal medicine. Regular visits from referral orthopaedic and cardiology specialists. They have good relations with local charities and rehoming centres. Their goal is to maintain the balance between small and personal while being technically advanced and growing.

Applicant Requirements

  • The successful applicant will be MRCVS with some practical experience. You will have strong consulting skills, the ability to perform basic first opinion surgeries and be able to work well within a team.  If you are looking to join a supportive and progressive practice then we would love to hear from you!
