Veterinary Surgeon – Full or Part Time – Cirencester

We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working closely with a practice in Cirencester who are looking for a full or part time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
Their new team member must be experienced, enthusiastic; self-motivated, willing and able to work sole charge and have good general surgical and medical skills.
Working Hours:
They have either full or part time hours available, both will include 1:4 weekends (9am to 6pm) usually 1 weekday off during week (if full time). Working hours during the week are 9am to 6pm.
However, they are very flexible with this position and are happy to welcome a part time vet who can accommodate being a part of the weekend rota of 1 in 4 and at least 2 week days. They will be flexible with what you are looking for. Their 1:4 weekends has to be covered at least.
About:
They have a growing client base, with a mix of young, healthy pets requiring preventative health care, but also a growing number of interesting medical cases. They have a visiting orthopaedic surgeon.
Their patient base is dogs, cats and small furries (rabbits & guinea pigs). Their passion is to provide healthcare with low stress methods, and they are keen to educate their customers and enable them to take an active part and understanding in their pets’ wellbeing. Everyone here is keen to make sure all their customers and their pets receive compassionate and caring service, tailored to their needs.

The team consists of 4 vets, 4 Nurses including our Head Nurse & Deputy Head and two student nurses and 4 Client Care Advisors.
The practice is lovely and sunny up on a mezzanine, with external windows. They have digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring, scenography, in-house lab, advanced airway management systems for rabbits and cats, plus separate wards for dogs, cats and exotics. Their cat ward is state of the art low stress accommodation.
