Lloyd & Cowan is delighted to be representing a friendly, independent, family-run practice in Kidderminster is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic team on a permanent basis.
About the Practice:
Locally owned by 2 very experienced Vets.
The Practice is committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
The role offers a diverse caseload, the guidance of a dedicated mentor, and the opportunity to develop areas of interest.

The team consists of multiple experienced Vets & Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs).
The practice is also supported by a brilliant support team that ensures everything runs smoothly.
It is also an RCVS-accredited practice, highlighting a commitment to high standards of care.
Facilities:
The purpose-built premises include separate dog and cat wards, consulting rooms, digital x-ray (including dental x-ray), high-quality ultrasound with Doppler, in-house lab, endoscope, optic loop, Tonovet pen, cautery, and laser therapy.
The Role:
The role involves working a 4-day week with one early finish each week and a 1:4 share of the Saturday morning consults from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
Part-time work can also be accommodated to suit the candidate's needs.
There are no routine out-of-hours (OOH) requirements, but those interested in emergency care can discuss joining the OOHs rota.
The daily structure is well-organised, with two Vets consulting, one operating, and one managing medical cases and inpatients.
Each vet has designated operating days, with time set aside for more complex cases requiring additional support.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £68,000 (DOE)
6 weeks of holiday, plus bank holidays.
