A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive small animal team in coastal Lancashire. This well-established practice combines a strong community presence with modern clinical standards, offering a great balance of professional challenge and lifestyle.

Salary up to £60,000 DOE | Full-time | 40 hours | 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

The Role
You’ll handle a varied caseload of consultations, medical work-ups and surgery, supported by a close-knit team of nurses and vets who take pride in providing high-quality, compassionate care. The role offers autonomy and the chance to help develop new services while being part of a forward-thinking practice.

Full-time hours average 40 per week, with just 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and no regular out-of-hours. Flexible options, including school-hour arrangements, can be discussed.

About You

  • Confident small animal vet with around 2–5 years’ experience

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused mindset

  • Keen to contribute ideas and grow your skills in a supportive setting

  • Interest in leadership or business management development welcomed
