Big Team. Big Caseload. Zero Burnout.

Looking for a role where you don’t have to choose between surgical development and a life outside of work? This is it.

Join a friendly and established 8-vet team in Doncaster, split across two sites (including a fully equipped hospital). Whether your passion lies in soft tissue, orthopaedics, imaging or medicine — there’s room to grow here, without the pressure cooker of constant on-call or squeezed rotas.

We’ve built this role around balance. You’ll work a 4-day week, with no out-of-hours, no bank holidays, and just 1 in 8 Saturday mornings — with TOIL during the week to give you proper recovery time.

What You Can Expect:

  • Surgical exposure that counts — cruciates, patellas, BOAS, lap spays and more.
  • Medicine-focused team? Absolutely — in-house diagnostics include Imagyst, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental X-ray, and i-STAT.
  • A rota that reflects you — prefer hospital shifts? Love consults? We’ll shape the week around your strengths and goals.
  • VetGDP registered, so new or recent grads welcome with tailored support.

Package Highlights:

  • £38,000–£65,000 salary (negotiable if you’re more experienced or working towards a cert)
  • 4-day week (part-time options available)
  • 1 in 8 Saturday mornings (8am–12:30pm) with TOIL
  • No OOH or bank holiday work
  • 5 weeks holiday + ability to buy/sell extra leave
  • Funded certificates & generous CPD support
  • RCVS, VDS + one additional membership paid
  • Enhanced family leave, health cash plan, cycle to work scheme
  • And yes — your well-behaved pet is welcome at work

This is a great chance to be part of a forward-thinking team in a well-equipped, multi-vet practice that still feels like a close-knit clinic. Based in Doncaster, you’ll enjoy easy access to both countryside escapes and strong city links.
