Our client who we are delighted to be working with are on the look out for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
They pride themselves on delivering comprehensive veterinary care, encompassing a balanced caseload across medicine, surgery, and imaging. This role presents an opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to shape their practice by establishing a focus in a particular area of interest, allowing for personalised caseload development. They are committed to supporting your pursuit of further qualifications, aligning with your professional aspirations.

About them:

To complement their nearly full team of skilled vets, they require a dedicated professional to join them every Thursday and Friday, from 08:30 to 18:30, allowing an hour for lunch and dedicated administrative time. Additionally, a rotational share of Saturday mornings from 08:30 to 13:00 is part of the role.

While they do not have out-of-hours obligations, there may be occasional overnight inpatient care shared among their veterinary team. Flexibility in scheduling is a consideration, and they are open to discussing your preferred days and hours to accommodate individual needs.

They are a close knit team who enjoy their good days together and lean together in the harder times. They have a large, experienced team of Veterinary Nurses and they are also a VN training practice. Their warm, friendly reception team would be able to offer you all sorts of support and knowledge. 

Salary:

Up to £65,000 depending on experience, relocation support up to £3,000, plus benefits 

They're looking for an experienced Vet and they can offer an excellent work life balance. They want someone who has:
•    Drive to work towards clinical excellence within first opinion practice
•    Passion for small animal practice
•    Confidence in making strong clinical recommendations and being able to coach less experienced team members in making these
•    Support with less experienced team members in discussing medical work ups
•    Desire to provide a high standard of veterinary medicine, to the pets under our care
•    Integrity when working with the clinical team to drive the strong principles that the practice adheres to
•    Responsibility to the pets under our care, making strong and confident clinical recommendations 
•    Growth in wanting to progress your clinical knowledge and skill development, which in turn contributes to the growth of the practice and the clinical team
•    RCVS registered
