A friendly Small Animal practice based in a vibrant village between Leeds and Newcastle, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and experienced team. With over 60 years of combined experience in general practice, this is a fantastic opportunity for a vet to develop their skills in a well-established, beautifully refurbished facility.

About the Practice
The practice has been operating at its current site for almost 25 years, originally converted from a corner shop. In 2018, the practice underwent a major renovation and modernization, creating a new operating suite and relocating the main entrance to the side of the building. What started as a single-vet practice has grown into a thriving four-vet team. In 2020, they introduced a refreshed brand with a new logo and color scheme, while maintaining the same trusted service.

About the Role
The team is looking for a full-time or part-time vet (24-36 hours per week, flexible) to join the growing team. Ideally, the practice is looking for a vet with experience in routine neutering and a strong general practice background, but they are open to the right candidate. Individual interests and specialisms are encouraged and supported.

Key Information
  • Full-time hours: 40 hours per week, with 1:4 Saturday mornings
  • No out-of-hours: The practice uses a dedicated OOH provider located nearby
  • Accommodation: On-site flat available if needed
  • Location: North Yorkshire – a growing and cosmopolitan area, offering easy access to both Leeds and Newcastle
  • Support: Friendly, experienced team with a focus on work-life balance
