The Practice
This modern, well-equipped clinic is based within a busy Pets at Home store, with free parking and excellent footfall. The team have access to digital X-ray, ultrasound, Idexx lab suite, multiparameter monitoring, and an electrosurgical unit — ideal for confident all-rounders who want a varied caseload with proper kit to match.
You’ll be joining a close-knit, experienced group of 4 vets, 4 nurses, 1 VCA and 3 receptionists. Interests in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine are already strong, and there’s real opportunity here to shape your role depending on your clinical passions. The culture is warm, team-focused and celebrates achievements in and out of the clinic; from birthdays to Christmas dinners to casual nights out.
The Role
- Full-time preferred: 40 hours over 4 days
- 1 in 3 weekends (Saturday 9–6, Sunday 10–4)
- No out-of-hours and no bank holidays
- Part-time applications welcome
This role suits a vet with at least 2 years of UK practice experience, confident with routine consulting and surgery, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a close team. Basic experience with exotics is helpful but not essential.
