Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment is proud to partner with a state-of-the-art, multi-specialty and emergency veterinary hospital based in Los Angeles, California, as they seek a Board-Certified Veterinary Criticalist to join their growing team.

With a full complement of in-house specialists, a newly built ICU, and cutting-edge technology (including CT, MRI, and advanced ultrasound), this is an opportunity to truly practice at the top of your game.

The Role:

The incoming Criticalist will take the lead in managing ICU and complex emergency cases, supporting the ER team with stabilizations and diagnostics, and guiding the critical care strategy for the hospital. You’ll also have the chance to shape your schedule and clinical focus with support from an experienced and forward-thinking leadership team.

Ideal Candidate:

  • DACVECC or residency-trained in Emergency & Critical Care

  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in California

  • Skilled in intensive monitoring, stabilizations, and critical care protocols
