What the Role Involves:
Performing soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and providing nutritional advice
Promoting team-based medicine and ensuring collaborative patient care
Providing mentorship and coaching for students along their DVM journey
Engaging with the local community and establishing strong relationships with pet owners and support staff
Opportunities to develop expertise and grow in the field of exotic animal care
Qualifications:
A valid full veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
3+ years of experience in soft tissue surgeries, preventative care, and nutritional advice
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
A passion for mentoring students and fostering a supportive team environment
Experience with exotics is an asset and offers growth potential in this area
