Our client who we are delighted to be working with have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with good communication skills, a positive can-do attitude and willing to learn more. You will be supported by their very experienced team including their head vet, who is an exotic certificate holder with many years’ experience and diagnostic imaging focused vets too, as well as their fantastic nursing team and support staff.
Working hours:
They are open to all possibilities, so if you require shorter hours 5 days a week or longer hours 4 days a week or even part time, they are very flexible. Their opening hours at their main branch are Monday to Friday 8am – 7pm and their branch clinic are open 8:30am – 6:30pm Monday to Friday. You will also work a share of 1:5 Saturday mornings between 8am – 1pm, with no out-of-hours requirement at their main site.
About them:
They are a three-site practice with a very family-friendly atmosphere. Their main site is set in the semi-rural village of Black Notley, surrounded by open fields and glorious countryside. Located just off the A120 a 15min car journey will take you to Stansted Airport and we have direct train services into the City of London.
They are supported by 6 registered veterinary nurses who have many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge, there are also 2 student veterinary nurses, a veterinary care assistant, 6 reception team members and a Practice Director who is also a registered veterinary nurse so you are never short of support! Across the team, we have an exotic certificate holder, diagnostic imaging focus vets, and an anaesthetic certificate holder nurse.
Salary:
Salary up to £75,000 DOE, Welcome Bonus up to £5,000 plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000
