About:
High calibre support staff including qualified RVNs, SVNs and VCAs.
Excellent, friendly and experienced veterinary team - regular in-house clinical meetings and discussions
The practice is a first opinion practice and this position offers a very varied mix of work, and to a degree the role can be tailored to accommodate an individual’s areas of enthusiasm.
The small animal surgery has excellent facilities (2 vet and one nurse consulting rooms, separate large operating theatre, large prep room, separate room for radiography and ultrasound scanning, isolation room, separate cat & dog kennels). The equipment includes in-house biochemistry, critical care analyser, standard and dental digital radiography, ultrasound for both abdominal use and echocardiography, ECG and diathermy amongst other tools.
20-minute consult times, with consults taking place at 3 points in the day. Morning, lunch, and evening surgery.
Location:
Based in a small market town close to York, and in the middle of beautiful countryside – the Yorkshire Moors and The Howardian Hills, but it is close to main road and rail networks. As well as boasting beautiful scenery, there is also plenty of things to do and an ideal location for families.
