Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who are on the look out for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Role:

Join their dynamic team of veterinary professionals and enjoy a varied caseload and highly bonded clientele, providing an excellent backdrop for advancing your veterinary career. As a member of their team, you'll work alongside four veterinary surgeons, five registered veterinary nurses, a student veterinary nurse, one veterinary care assistant, and four receptionists, who collaborate between their two branches.


About the practice:

This practice is a thriving two site first opinion practice located in the vibrant Market Town of Ashton-in-Makerfield, just 4 miles south of Wigan, as well as their other site in Warrington, which is situated within easy reach of major cities like Manchester and Liverpool, as well as the picturesque Lake District, their practices offers an ideal base for exploring the Northwest of England.

They offer a flexible working environment that promotes excellent work-life balance. As a close-knit team, they prioritise mutual support and camaraderie, ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported.


Rota:

They’re offering true flexibility with this role; they can support consults only, part time hours whatever you’re looking for, there’s a role for you. A typical full-time role would involve covering 36 hours per week over 4 weekdays, along with one Saturday per month. No out of hours required.


Ideal Candidate:

They're seeking a dedicated team player with strong general practitioner (GP) vet skills to join their team. While they can provide support to recent graduates, some prior experience is preferred.


Salary:

Salary up to £65,000, Relocation Allowance up to £5000
