Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established, 100% small animal practice based in Redditch, seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and collaborative team.
This RCVS PSS registered practice has built a strong reputation locally and prides itself on fostering a genuinely supportive working environment where every team member plays an important role. You’ll be joining a cohesive team consisting of 4 FTE Vets, 6 RVNs, 4 Receptionists and a dedicated Practice Manager.
The Role

1 in 4 Saturdays (9am–2pm)

This role offers an excellent balance between consultations and surgery, alongside a strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities

Delivering a mix of consultations and surgical procedures
-
Some sole-charge shifts
-
Supporting and mentoring vet students when on site

Maintaining high standards of clinical care

Working collaboratively with the wider clinical and support team
You’ll have the clinical freedom to work up your own cases, with the reassurance of experienced colleagues and excellent nursing support.
About You

Experienced and confident in small animal general practice

Comfortable managing consults, routine surgery and occasional sole charge

RCVS registered

Friendly, team-focused and supportive in your approach
