The Role
This independent practice is seeking an experienced small animal vet to join their supportive team on a part-time basis. The position runs from Wednesday to Friday, with hours of 8:30am–7pm on Wednesday, 8:30am–5pm on Thursday and Friday, plus a 1-in-3 Saturday morning rota (9am–1pm). There are no out-of-hours or on-call requirements.
The Team
The successful vet will be joining a welcoming group of eight vets in total, including both mixed and small animal clinicians. The team offers a strong mix of experience, with support always available for discussing cases or sharing skills. The culture is sociable and down-to-earth — regular catch-ups, team walks, and quiz nights are part of what makes the practice such an enjoyable place to work.
Development
This independent practice values professional growth and encourages further training. Vets are supported to pursue certificates, develop areas of interest, and take part in monthly case discussions to share ideas and review cases.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary from £45,000 to £65,000 (DOE, pro rata)
