An established two-site practice in Cheshire is seeking a part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and experienced team. This is a flexible role offering 20–30 hours per week across 2 or 3 days, with a light 1 in 6 weekend rota and no OOH responsibilities.
The Role
You'll be working alongside vets with interests in cardiology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. The caseload is mainly small animal, with some wildlife and exotics. You'll be primarily based at either site, with occasional cover across both locations.
The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab (including urinalysis), blood pressure monitors, GA monitoring equipment, and a Tonopen. This role would suit a confident all-rounder who enjoys a mix of consulting and surgery and is comfortable with occasional sole charge.
