We are excited to be representing a new clinic that are privately owned clinic in East Auckland, a good socio-economic area. They are looking for a junior or experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team mid 2023!
At current they have 7 vets and 10 nurses plus a dedicated reception team. They have a very experienced team and have trained new graduates. The staff are always our priority and being non corporate is what appeals to our staff and clientele.
The practices consists of three consulting rooms. Sterile theatre. Digital radiology. Dental radiology. Ultrasound. And are in the process of purchasing an endoscope.
Rosters hours are around 36-40. No Sundays. No public holidays. No after hours.
Saturday mornings are 1 in 6.
Four day week or five day week depending on what the vet wants.
They work with two charities. One is a cat rescue and we are their biggest vet in Auckland. The work varies from desexing to emergency amputations. The other is their own charity The Rock Vets, they provide free care to the Pacific island of Niue - and fly around twenty volunteers there twice yearly. All staff are invited to join this clinic as part of their employment. They absolutely love it and enjoy the island experiences as well as local food and culture. It is life changing work and they strongly believe in giving back the skills to those who have nothing.
