About the Practice:
Based in Feltham, this practice is privileged to benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base.
Their well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards. And is bright, spacious and air-conditioned and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, separate Dog, Cat and Exotic wards, and in-house laboratory facilities.
The Team:
You will be working alongside the JVP (practice owner) who qualified over 15 years ago, has grown the practice significantly, and recognises the importance of providing the best veterinary care.
You will also work with other experienced veterinary surgeons, sharing the caseload of surgeries and consultations.
Supported by an exceptional nursing team, that bring with them a wealth of experience, are very involved in cases and are trained to perform Schedule 3 tasks. Accompanied with an experienced, friendly and professional reception team.
The practice work closely with neighbouring clinics and can offer cardiac ultrasounds and more complex surgeries on site, from a certificate holder.
The Ideal Location:
Feltham is 30 minutes from Central London by train and under 15 minutes from the M25/M3/M4 and only 2 miles to Heathrow airport and the clinic has plenty of parking and are close to a great selection of local amenities and transport links.
About you and the role:
You will be a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon looking to start their career in a supportive environment that have previously helped new graduates grow into experienced vets.
You will also be placed onto the Vets4Pets Graduate Scheme which provides 2 years of regular CPD and support.
Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
You will be a strong team player and enjoy the variety the role will bring.
This role will be full time at 40 hours per week with a share of weekends (currently 1:3 Saturdays, 9am-4pm) and no OOHs!
If you are keen to develop within your own area of interest, they offer a generous CPD allowance and support. Salary £35k+ dependent on experience!
