We have an exciting opportunity available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic team! This would be ideal for an experienced vet with an interest in mentoring colleagues, or a recently graduated vet wanting to gain more skills in a supportive environment. We are happy to accept both full and part-time applications for this position, working up to 40 hours per week between 8:30 am-7 pm, with 1:4 Saturdays. No Sunday or out of hours work.
About the Practice:
They are a 6-branch practice located across South Wales, this role is based at the lovely Newport branch, giving you excellent access to Cardiff and Gwent regions.
The team are dedicated to providing a great service to loyal client base, to help them do this they have facilities such as an in house lab, digital x-ray, state of the art ultrasound, and capnography.
By far the best part of the practice is their team, currently having 4 full-time vets and an experienced orthopaedic surgeon, supported by a hard-working team of 5 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student veterinary nurses and a receptionist. With a very close-knit team and strongly encourage case discussions to help develop skills and understanding.
Our ideal candidate is a dedicated vet who will put client care at the heart of everything they do. They will have experience in basic neutering, and first opinion consultations both routine and emergency.
