This well-established practice is on the lookout for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in medicine and diagnostics to join their friendly, loyal team.
The role offers flexibility – ideally suited to someone looking for a three or four-day working week, plus a share of weekends. There’s also the option to pair this role with shifts at a nearby branch for those wanting additional clinical exposure. A part-time vet already complements the rota, with crossover built in for continuity and support.
The clinic itself is based in a brilliant location – tucked just off the Thames with a real village feel, yet still connected easily to Central London. The client base is bonded, largely insured, and open to clinical workups – perfect for someone who enjoys case continuity and a medicine-leaning caseload.
Support comes from a senior RVN and trainee nurses, with backup from a 24-hour hospital just 15 minutes away for referrals and OOH.
There’s a real opportunity to grow the diagnostic side of the practice – for vets confident in scanning, investment in ultrasound equipment is ready to go.
Salary ranges from £64,000 to £85,000 (FTE) depending on experience.
Rota includes 1 in 3 branch Saturdays and 1 in 10 hospital Sundays, plus one bank holiday per year.
Benefits include:
6.6 weeks’ leave (including bank holidays)
Private medical insurance
CPD budget up to £2,000 + 5 days leave
Relocation assistance available
Full support from the regional and clinical teams
And more!
