Senior Vet – Wimborne, Dorset
Our client is recruiting! Full-time vet required for a 100% small animal practice in coastal Dorset. This role is for a Senior Vet to become part of a small leadership team, undertaking management tasks, including HR & KPIs.
About:
At the practice they deliver first class patient care whilst offering a caring, supportive environment in which to work, benefiting both the team, their clients, and their clients pets. This is an exciting time to join the practice, as they just celebrated their 25th anniversary and undergoing a refurbishment of the practice.
They are small team of 16: 1 Practice Director (Non-Clinical), 4 Vets (3.5 FTE), 3 RVNs, 2 ANAs (1.5 FTE), 4 Receptionists (2.2 FTE), and 2 Admin Support colleagues.
They have excellent, modern facilities with separate waiting areas and kennels for dogs and cats/small animals to ensure as little stress and discomfort as possible to the pets in their care. They offer an on-site laboratory, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a state-of-the-art operating theatre, so you’ll have everything you need to work to your very best.
The Role:
No OOH (they use Vets Now for this).
Time given to work up cases.
Clinical interests supported.
Full-time hours, but they can offer flexibility if this is carried out over 4.5 days or 4 days. Hours to be covered include: 8.30 – 6.30pm Monday to Friday, 1:3 late Wednesdays 11am – 8pm, and 1:4 Saturdays 8.30 – 5pm.
