Join our progressive and busy 24-hour hospital, aiming to provide the highest standards of care for our patients. Our caseload is 50% dog & cats and 50% exotics, with a team of 8 full time vets.

We are a long established and well-known veterinary hospital in a traditional area of Hong Kong, providing high standards of patients care with our great team of 8 vets (4 certificate holders), vet nurses and vet assistants, and two dedicated night teams. Our exceptional facilities provide advanced diagnostics and treatment for all species, including on-site CT, several endoscopes, cryosurgery, laparoscopic surgery, full IDEXX lab suite and Abaxis machine, IM3 dental x-rays, and dedicated small animal and exotic ICU units. Our vets enjoy free access to several scientific publications (including the Journal of Emergency and Critical Care, JSAP, JFMS, VetClinNorthAm and JAVMA) and access to specialist advice via the VetCT Teleconsulting service. We are close to the sea, mountains and country parks, yet only a short drive to exciting Central district, packed with skyscrapers and modern shopping malls. Outside the bustling city centre, there are also stunning hiking trails with lush vegetation, country parks, beaches and several outlying islands waiting to be explored. Hong Kong boasts an amazing food culture, with countless options varying from refined Michelin star restaurants to charming local street food stalls.

Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring small animal vet to expand our team. Recent Graduates will be considered. Previous knowledge in exotics is not essential as we will provide high level training in exotics emergency medicine and surgery.

We offer:

  • The position is for a night veterinarian, but we can offer a flexible combination of day and night work if the candidate prefers (you can choose to work a few months on nights followed by a few months on days, on rotation with the other night vets).

  • The working pattern for the night shift is of 3 nights one week, 4 nights the next week; the day shift pattern consists of a regular 5-day week.

  • A dedicated team of 3 assistants at night, 2 assistants during days, to help with the clinical work.

  • With a base salary plus production bonus on top, our experienced night vets can earn in excess of HK$100,000 per month.

  • Support with relocation expenses (VISA application, flight, quarantine expenses, accommodation for the 1 st month)

  • Generous CPD allowance, including two weeks CPD leave.

  • Generous annual leave

  • A great team of Vets, Vet Assistants, Vet Nurses and a supportive Administrative Team

For overseas candidates, in order to register with the Veterinary Surgeons Board, you need to be a UK, USA, Australian, New Zealand, Taiwan or South African graduate, or hold a qualification eligible for registration in Hong Kong (see Hong Kong VSB Schedule 1 or 2)
